  24. There are so many things that'll cause that problem.  Simply put, the 
  25. light doesn't go out because the drive never finidhes it's reset 
  26. process.  So you could have  a bad 6502, bad ROMs, bad RAM, bad 6522's, 
  27. and so on.  This actually happened to a guy here about a couple of 
  28. weeks ago.  Mike, who is an expert on everything, said the first thing 
  29. to check would be the 6502, then the ROMs.  If you don't find the 
  30. problem there, then it's kinda pick and choose (if your 6522's are in 
  31. sockets, I'd check them since they would be easy to test).
  32. The problem with the guys drive was the 6502.  Pulled one from an IEEE 
  33. interface and got it working again.
